Flocon AI vs Sanity
Sanity is a full headless CMS for all your content, with an official hosted MCP server so Claude or Cursor can edit it. Flocon AI does one thing: your AI writes SEO pages through MCP, and Flocon stores them and shows them on your Next.js website with one npm install. Pick Sanity if you need a CMS for everything. Pick Flocon if you only need SEO pages, fast.

Why I built Flocon instead of using a CMS
"I wanted a small, efficient tool for my own pages, not a full CMS. I designed the page format myself so that it's very easy for AI agents to understand and to write pages with, and very easy to build libraries for more frameworks than Next.js." — Alfred Gauthier, founder of Flocon AI
Which one should you pick?
Sanity shines when your website has lots of structured content: products, docs, blog, landing pages, images. Its MCP server lets agents query, create, patch and publish documents and even manage schemas, from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Lovable and more. Third-party price trackers list the Growth plan at $15 per seat per month; check sanity.io/pricing. Flocon fits better if you don't want to model content or write rendering code: the page format is ready, and a new page needs no code change and no redeploy. Keep in mind it's not a CMS for every kind of content: no image block, no in-app AI writer, no keyword research.
Can I use Sanity's MCP server to make SEO pages?
Yes, if your Sanity schemas and Next.js code already handle those pages. Sanity gives you the building blocks; you design the page model and the SEO fields.
Do I need to write code to show Flocon pages?
Only once: install @flocon-ai/next and add one catch-all route. After that, new pages appear without code changes.
Can I use both?
Yes. You can keep your main content in a CMS and use Flocon only for SEO pages like comparisons and alternatives.
Which is cheaper for a solo founder?
Both have a free plan. Flocon Pro is 5€/month per website for 50 published pages, tax included. Sanity's paid plan is billed per seat.
