Drafts and published pages

A draft is private. A published page is live on your website. Every page is one or the other.

Drafts never leave Flocon AI through the API your website uses. Your visitors cannot reach a draft.

Publish and unpublish

In the dashboard, open Pages. Each page has a Publish or Unpublish button.

With your AI tool:

  • create_page publishes by default. Pass publish: false to save a draft.
  • publish_page publishes a draft.
  • unpublish_page turns a published page back into a draft.
  • delete_page deletes a page, draft or published.

Limits

  • Publish (or create as published): refused when you reach the published pages limit of your plan.
  • Create any page: refused when you reach the total page cap.
  • Unpublish and delete: always allowed.

If you ask your AI tool to create a published page and there is no room, the page is saved as a draft. The AI gets a message that says why.
