Scheduled publishing

Give a page a publishAt date. It goes live on that date. Until then, visitors get a 404. Use it to ask your AI for many pages now and release one a day.

How it works

  • publishAt is an ISO date, for example 2026-11-15T08:00:00Z.
  • Your AI tool sets it with create_page or update_page.
  • Before the date, the page is not served. It is not in the sitemap or llms.txt either.
  • From the date, the page is live. No action is needed. There is no cron job to set up.

Limits

  • A scheduled page uses a published slot right away. It counts in your published pages limit from the day you schedule it.
  • If there is no room, create_page saves a draft instead, and the AI is told why.
  • Total page cap: same rules as any page. See Plans and limits.

So on Free (10 published pages), you can schedule at most 10 pages.

Rules

  • publishAt only applies to a published page. A draft has no date.
  • update_page on a draft ignores publishAt. Publish the page first.
  • Publish without a date: the date is now.
  • Unpublish a page: its date is removed.
  • Dates in the past are fine: the page is live now.

Release one page a day

Copy this prompt into your AI tool:

Create 10 pages on my Flocon AI website, one per integration I support.
Use paths like /integrations/<tool>.
Publish them one per day, starting tomorrow at 08:00 UTC.
Set publishAt on each page.

The AI calls create_page 10 times, each with a different publishAt. Check the dates in the answers. Each answer says when the page goes live.

The 10 pages use 10 published slots from now. Check your limit with get_website first.

Change or cancel

  • Change the date: ask your AI to call update_page with a new publishAt.
  • Cancel: call unpublish_page. The page goes back to draft and the date is removed.
