Quick start

3 steps: install the lib, connect your AI tool, create your first page. About 5 minutes. This guide uses Next.js (App Router).

You need a Flocon AI website. Create one at /app/websites.

1. Install the lib

npm install @flocon-ai/next

Copy your website token from /app/tokens. Add it to .env.local:

.env.local
FLOCON_TOKEN=<website token>

Never commit the token. It is read-only, but it is still a secret.

Create one catch-all route. It serves every Flocon page:

app/[...slug]/page.tsx
import { FloconPage } from "@flocon-ai/next"

export const dynamic = "force-dynamic"

export default async function Page({
params,
}: {
params: Promise<{ slug: string[] }>
}) {
const { slug } = await params
return <FloconPage path={"/" + slug.join("/")} />
}

FloconPage reads the page on each request. A page you publish shows up on the next visit. Without dynamic = "force-dynamic", Next.js may build the route once.

Need another language than the default one? Pass it: <FloconPage path="/guides/seo" locale="fr" />. There is no fallback to another language.

2. Connect your AI tool

  1. Copy your MCP token from /app/tokens.

  2. Add the MCP server to your tool.

    • Claude app (web, desktop, mobile) or ChatGPT: add a custom connector. The token goes in the URL: https://mcp.flocon-ai.com/<token>.
    • Claude Code: run this command. The token goes in a header.
claude mcp add --transport http flocon-ai https://mcp.flocon-ai.com --header "Authorization: Bearer <token>"

Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Codex, Gemini CLI and more: see Connect the MCP server.

  1. Ask your AI tool: "Call get_website from Flocon AI." You should see your website name, languages and plan.

3. Create your first page

Ask your AI tool, for example:

Create a page at /vs/notion on my Flocon AI website.
Compare my product with Notion. Add a comparison table and a FAQ.
Publish it.

The AI calls create_page. Then open /vs/notion on your website. The page is there.

Schedule a page. Ask: "Publish it on 2026-11-15." The page goes live on that date. It uses a published slot from now on, and visitors get a 404 until then.
